HOCKEY TEAM "HOCKEY PLANET"

Hockey Planet's hockey team for children and youth is founded with the aim of

creating a place where children can fall in love with hockey, improving and

developing their individual skills. We want to help each student develop their

maximum potential - in skating, agility, speed, puck control, shooting and

passing technique. During the training process, we help to understand the nuances

of the hockey game and team spirit - both on and off the field.

In addition to good technical performance on ice, physical strength is also important -

therefore, after ice training, all our students also receive professional physical training to develop strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, posture, dexterity, mobility, speed and general skill. We adapt an appropriate training program for each age group, offering comprehensive training that ensures versatile and full-fledged physical and psychological development.

Through a professional attitude towards learning and training, we want to help children and young people become competitive personalities and excellent hockey players.

The hockey club's ice training takes place in the INBOX ice hall - street Hokeja  1, Pinki, while off-ice training takes place in the sports center Priedaine - street Dreilinu 8, Jurmala. In our sports center, we provide an individual approach to each student and a unique opportunity to use the HDTS skating treadmill during the training process which helps  to improve skating, throwing and stick technique. Team coaches Koba Jass, Mareks Jass and as specialists Martins Porejs (skating + strenght) and Aleksandrs Galkins (stick and throwing technique).
